The Austin Planetarium, Science Museum and Technology Center is part of the Austin and Central Texas community. Together our goal is to build a world-class museum and planetarium to help educate our children which will enable them to pursue lives and careers that fulfill them. Not only do we host events in order to open a window to our educational and inspirational goals, but to also inform you and other like-minded individuals of all the positive progress we’ve made and to tell you of the many easy ways you can join as a member or become involved in the Austin Planetarium.

From our 2 monthly events (Opal Divines Speaker Series and Southern Skies Socials) where you can relax with fellow enthusiasts over great food and drink to annual events where you can take in the nighttime skies or enjoy an educational video program in Austin Planetarium Discovery Dome, we have something for everyone! Past events that we have been a part of are: Austin Under the Stars, Mars Curiosity Landing Party, Nerd Night, the Austin Science and Engineering Festival and many more.
