Astronomy Talk - Part III

Dr. James Heath will continue his free astronomy lecture series about early contributors to the establishment of the scientific method and the formation of Astronomy as a scientific discipline. This session is entitled “Kepler and Galileo in 1609: The Birth of the Scientific Method.” As in the previous events, there will be a "Star Party" observation session following the lecture which will be co-hosted by the Austin Planetarium’s Executive Director Torvald Hessel. Dr. James Heath will give a free astronomy talk about the early Greek philosophers and their contributions to the scientific method and the formation of Astronomy as a discipline.
