We’re nuts for Astronomy…

…And we know you are too.  That’s why we’re bringing the Austin Planetarium to the 32nd Spring Pecan Street Festival. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, its got arts, crafts, music, dance, food, a petting zoo, and even ASTRONOMY! It’s a match made in the heavens.

May 1st and 2nd the people of Austin take to the streets for two days of food and fun in the heart of Austin’s entertainment district, and we’ll be there. The Austin Planetarium will be one of the dozens of booths on hand at the Pecan Street Festival on 6th Street. Just like last year, our double booth will be just north of 6th Street on Neches, so stop on by and sign up for the Austin Planetarium newsletter to receive a complimentary gift of stellar proportions. The Pecan Street Festival is a very important event for us, as it allows us to directly engage the Central Texas public and raise awareness for our project. We already know that there is great public support for the Austin Planetarium, but convincing politicians and investors is another story.
