There are lots of ways to make a difference for the Austin Planetarium, but the most significant and direct way is to make a donation. In our current effort to raise funds to construct a planetarium and science museum here in Austin, we have received donations from a variety of sources, both individual contributions as well as corporate. Q. Is my donation tax deductable?

Most definitely! The Austin planetarium is a registered a 501(c)(3) non profit, which means that you are allowed to deduct your donation for a full 100%. All donations-- either sent in by check or made online-- are fully tax deductible.

Q. Can I make an anonymous donation?

Yes, anonymous donations are possible. Network for Good offers this option in the payment process; just select not to share your information, and your donation is anonymous. Another option is to contact us and specify that you would like to make an anonymous donation. We will then provide you with the needed information. Paypal does not offer an anonymous donation option.

Q. Is this site secure? Can I make a donation in any other way?

We have taken utmost care that the choices listed here are 100% secure and trustworthy. Under most circumstances a secure page will have an URL that starts with "https" instead of simply "http". Therefore the current page is not secure, but by clicking 'continue' the resulting pop-up, where the actual credit card information is taken, is under https and therefore is secure. Additionally, donations through Network for Good or Paypal are also secure.
